Introduction
XRF are widely used in steel industry for its specialty, fast, accurate, non-destructive. And suitable for different kind of samples, including raw material, intermediate samples and final products, There is no such a versatile instrument which can play equal role than XRF. A sample can be tested by XRF in minutes including sample preparation. Unlike the ICP or AAS, a sample by EDXRF can be prepared by simple polishing. Second, the simultaneous analysis of full elements, the wide elemental range from Na to U by EDXRF, Skyray patent software coupling with EDX3600H allows simultaneous multi-element spectral measurement, spectra evaluation, overlapping process, escape peak abstraction, integration and qualitative and quantitative elemental analysis using fundamental parameter (FP) and reference sample correction to increase the accuracy. The detection limit of the system varies from 10 to 100 ppm depending on the inverse of the atomic weight of the element.
