The Insulation Piercing Connector (IPC) is widely used for Low Voltage Aerial Bundled Conductor (LV ABC) lines up to 1KV as well as connection in service line system, household distribution system, commercial structure distribution system, street light distribution system and underground connection system.

The Insulation Piercing Connector we also called ABC tap piercing connector, one of the overhead line accessories.

● Equipped with shear head screw.

● Provide a fully sealed, waterproof connection of aluminum and copper main and tap conductors up to 1KV.

● Insulated case body, resistance to illumination and environmental aging.

● Teeth materials: Aluminium, Tin plated brass and Tin plated copper.

● Tested for watertightness at the voltage of 6kV for 1min under water.

● Installation of IPC can be easily done by tightening the bolts to force the teeth penetrate the insulation of main conductor and tap conductor simultaneously.

● Stripping of insulation is avoided for both lines.

● End cap is attached to the body. No loose parts could fall to ground during installation.

● Standard: EN 50483-4, NFC 33-020.
