PHILATAIPEI 2016 will have following classes in addition to the World Stamp Championship Class: Traditional, Postal History, Postal Stationery, Aerophilately, Thematic, Revenue, Youth, Literature, One Frame and Modern Philately.

PHILATAIPEI 2016 world Stamp championship Exhibition is organized by Chunghwa Post Co., Ltd., Chinese Taipei Philatelic Federation and Taiwan External Trade Development Council to expand and develop friendly relations and close cooperation among FIP members, and to promote every aspect of philately in the FIP region.
Held from 14 to 19 August 2015, the Singapore 2015 World Stamp Exhibition offered a rare visual treat of over 2000 frames of philately items from 450 exhibitors from 66 countries. The unique showcases of the five Taiwanese collectors at the exhibition won them an enviable three gold medals and two large gold medals. As Taiwan prepares to take over the baton of hosting the World Stamp Exhibition in 2016, it is anticipated that hundreds of exhibitors from more than 70 countries will be taking part in PHILATAIPEI 2016.
